Older American Community Service Employment Program
A
program that develops the mature and older worker for meaningful
employment.
| The purpose of this employment training program is to provide people age 55 years with meaningful employment in nonprofit or public organizations in their community while they look for permanent full time or part time employment. Participants continue to contribute to the community and remain viable members of the workforce, while learning new work skills or enhancing their current skill sets. Participants are a value to local organizations and their clients. |

This program can help you too. Program participants are a diverse pool of people who can fill your full and part time openings. Our workers are committed, reliable, punctual, experienced, and loyal. You can contact your county representative to discuss your needs and to discuss your job openings.
This is a free service and there may be some tax benefits for your company as well. Please check with your local Employment Security Commission for more information on tax benefits for hiring older workers.
